Before you generate
Use Start of motion to select a later action, then preview the selected segment. This form prepares the segment locally before generation; the original Space only has a duration control.
Common questions
Can I choose a movement from the middle of a long video?
Yes. Set Start of motion and the output duration, then preview the segment. The browser trims it before upload. If local trimming is unsupported, upload a clip you have already trimmed and set the start to 0.
Is the demo free to use?
This community demo runs on Hugging Face ZeroGPU. Free access depends on your account quota, the shared queue and host availability. A login may be required. GPU time is not output video duration; free access is not unlimited. If your Hugging Face account has prepaid credits, usage beyond its included quota may consume that balance; check your account settings.
Where are my uploads processed?
Choosing files prepares local previews. Generate uploads them directly to the community Hugging Face Space. Its maintainer controls processing and retention. The original demo is a separate workspace.
What if the demo does not load?
Generation could not finish. Your inputs are still here. Check the original demo or try again later.
API and self-hosting
For the Space API, open “Use via API” in its footer and inspect the current schema before calling it. API requests still use provider quota. Alibaba offers separate wan2.2-animate-move / wan2.2-animate-mix services with account and billing requirements; these are different from this Wan-Animate-2 demo.
